POSITIVE
Feeling positive is good for everyone's sense of wellbeing and can mean different things to different people. Explore the words in the clouds and see if any describes the way you feel.
HAPPY
"I can't believe it"
Sometimes even good news is hard to believe. After lots of worries it's great to feel happy again. It can feel like you're tempting fate or kidding yourself. Don't worry. Take your time, think about everything that has happened, talk to your family, have a cry if you feel like it and let go of your fears.
HOPEFUL
"Things are looking good"
Cancer is full of uncertainties, so it's great when things are looking good. Hopes can be about different things - small things and big things, hopes for the near future and hopes for the distant future. Share your hopes and build on them.
ENCOURAGED
"It's worth trying"
Remember that there are always ups and downs in life. It feels good to get encouragement and it's also a good feeling to encourage other people when things are going well or there are things they would like to do.
OPTIMISTIC
"There's light at the end of the tunnel"
When things are tough in life, it is great to feel that things are going well. It may not be that everything is fine, but things are certainly looking good now and you have lots of hope for the future.
JOY
"It's the best"
Things are looking really good and you feel like you're part of the world again. All the bad stuff is behind you and you feel happy and carefree and are enjoying life. Good for you! Celebrate life, be happy and have fun!
RELIEVED
"I can breathe again"
What you feared to be bad news turned out to be good news, or maybe all the bad stuff is finally over and your parent has got the 'all clear' from the doctor. Enjoy the immense relief of being able to let go of your worries.
CONFIDENT
"I'm feeling strong and positive"
Feeling strong and positive is a good feeling. It doesn't mean pretending everything is ok if it isn't. And you must not put pressure on yourself to stay like that all the time, but it's a good feeling to experience and it's great to feel confident when things are going well.
TIPS ON COPING
