my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer a few weeks ago and it was a real shock to me

Hi,my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer a few weeks ago and it was a real shock to me I didn't know what to do so I sat and cried. I was really confused, scared and worried I told my friends at school and they didn't really know what to say because cancer hasn't affected their family but I like to talk to them about it because they help me by listening to what I have to say. I think that talking to friends helps a lot because they are someone else to talk to rather than parents or teachers . I feel very sad most of the time and very worried my dad has had chemo 4 times and I can already see a difference in him he is very tired and is losing weight. His face is a little droopy and it makes me worry a lot because I want him to get better but see him gradually getting worse hurts me because I can't do anything to stop him getting worse.
