Bella - 18 years old

For 11 months they told her it wasn't anything to worry about and 11 months after they finally done a MRI scan, the cancer was back.

9 years ago my mum got breast cancer. I was 10. She got put on chemotherapy which made her so ill it was horrible to see. She had her breast removed and radiotherapy. She got cleared after a year!

3 months after she had been cleared she was getting pains in her hip, she knew what sort of pain it was and went to the hospital. The doctors told her it was arthritis but she knew they was wrong. For 11 months they told her it wasn't anything to worry about and 11 months after they finally done a MRI scan, the cancer was back. And because they left it so long to check it had spread from her hip all the way through her pelvis up her spine and in to her neck. She went through more chemo, hip replacement, radiotherapy the lot!

And now, she has a brain tumour and is getting really forgetful. She forgets my name sometimes. She's been on treatment for the brain tumour for 8 months and it hasn't got smaller. This makes me angry and sad. She won't get to see me grow up or getting married or see my children. But I treasure every moment I have with her.
