My dad has previously had cancer in his leg but they sorted it and got it out. But about 2 months ago we found out my dad has liver cancer. He now takes tablets and lucky has not had any side effects except for tiredness. But sometimes I feel like I cannot talk to anyone because my friends don't understand. They don't feel the same things
Hello Elisha and welcome to the riprap forum. My name is Hilde and I’m one of the team here alongside Sue and Robyn. It sounds like a worrying time for you and many feel like you do, that their friends don’t understand and therefore it can be hard to talk to them about it. I hope that others in the riprap forum will get in touch but I want you to know that you can also contact us in the riprap team if you’d like to talk things over with us more privately. We are all experienced cancer nurses and can hopefully support you with what you’re going through. Please use the ‘get in touch’ form anytime and we’ll reply to you by email. We hope to hear from you! Warm wishes, Hilde
I am sorry to hear that, i can't really do anything but just know your not the only one going through something like this and that there are always people to talk to about it, you just need to find them.
Don't worry Elisha. Everyone is here with you. People here are experiencing the same things as you and know how you feel. They will support you
