Moving On

When you have been through the experience of having a parent with cancer, life can be very different afterwards.

How different, depends on many things. Just after treatment has finished, it can be a weird time for you, not quite knowing what comes next, wondering when everything will be completely over.

After a while - if your parent gets better and things are looking good - things may gradually get 'back to normal' although for many life will never be quite the same as before. We hope that this section can be of some help for you in dealing with the situation you're in right now.

If the saddest thing has happened and your parent has died - everything will be very different and it can be very hard to 'move on' with life. We hope you will find some support in reading our section "If your parent has died".

Whichever situation you are in at the moment, remember that you can always get in touch with us to talk things through.
