Hi, my dad had pancreatic cancer before he passed away recently. Emotionally, I understand what you mean; inside my head is just a jumble of loads of emotions: stress, upset, anger, loneliness. But sometimes I feel fine, and like I'm coping. For me, the best thing was finding a friend to talk to, because even if they can't understand, a good friend will try to support you. In terms of losing concentration at school/college, I've found its best to just keep going to lessons and writing the notes, copying the examples, because then you can review it at a later point when you feel in a better frame of mind. Hope this helps, and hope you're managing okay.
