Erin 11

now I'm in secondary school and I am not sure if I fit in.

I was walking home from school one day and turned the corner to find an ambulance outside my house. My dad was loaded in to the back of the van and went away.
A few days later my dad got home and he and mum sat me and my sisters down. They told us dad had cancer and was going to have poison put into his body to kill off the cancer cells and have a life threatening operation. After that day I was never the same. I was close to depression for a couple of months but then I told my dearest friend Emily and she helped me a lot.
However now I'm in secondary school and I am not sure if I fit in. But always share your thoughts and feelings with someone else otherwise they bundle up inside of you and believe me that's a very bad feeling.
