Sad

It is natural to feel sad if someone you love has cancer. When it is your parent, it affects you in so many ways and you may have a mixture of emotions.

The stories in this section relate to feeling sad but they may also relate to many other emotions. Because the stories are real and written by riprap users they reflect the situation of that person at the time when writing the story. You may find the same story in another emotion section if we feel that it is relevant there as well.

If You are feeling sad, you may find comfort in reading stories in this section to help you feeling less alone. However, you should maybe read stories in other sections as well so that you don’t increase your sense of sadness by only reading stories that relate to that feeling. Remember that young people often write their story when feeling down. Because this section relates to being sad, many of the stories here are written by teenagers whose parents have died. This may be helpful to some of you but not to others, so think about that before reading the stories.
