Feeling anxious is perhaps the most common emotion when a parent has cancer. When you´re a teenager, you know that cancer is a serious illness and you may know people who have died of cancer. Although there are very good treatments for cancer these days and many people get completely cured, it is natural to be anxious about your parent.

The stories in this section relate to feeling anxious but they may also relate to many other emotions. Because the stories are real and written by riprap users they reflect the situation of each person at the time when writing the story.
