Share your story with other riprap users

All stories on the riprap website are real stories submitted by riprap users. The stories help others but it can also be quite therapeutic in itself to write about what you're going through and how you feel about it. So if you feel up to it - submit your story to the site.

Please remember that the site is open for everyone to see and we encourage people to use a 'nickname' instead of your real name that we can use in the heading of the story. We also encourage you to not give the name of family members, health professionals or hospitals etc., but if you forget, we'll just remove that before we publish the story. We do this to protect the identity of both you and other people involved in your story. We also add a photo to each story but these are stock images and are not of people in the stories.

We'll let you know when the story has been published to the site and which section(s) it has been placed in.

Please note that as of 1 September 2017, riprap has no funding and is being run on a voluntary basis by the specialist cancer nurse who has managed the website since its launch in 2003. This means that replies may be delayed.

Thank you so much for sharing your story with us and all the riprap users.

PS. You can also use this form to submit contributions for riprap's Creative Corner
