Nick - 12 years old

An operation to remove the tumour was unsuccessful, and the cancer is now incurable.

When I was 6 years old, I found out my Mum had Retroperitoneal Leiomyosarcoma. I honestly felt like my world had ended. My mum had always done everything for me and my sister, always there when we needed her. A successful operation took the tumour out, and spent two years in remission until we found out it had came back.

An operation to remove the tumour was unsuccessful, and the cancer is now incurable. She is having monthly chemotherapy, and it isn't the nicest time for us. We will live through it though - we have too.

My Grandad also has a brain tumour which was removed, but has also came back. Cancer is slowly devastating my family

One day, we will beat cancer.
