Feb, aged 15

They told him they can't do anything else and he only has a few months left. It's so hard on us; he's got 5 children under the age of 18. My mum is so stressed out and depressed and the little kids don't understand.

My dad had really bad pains in his stomach for a long time. He couldn't eat very well because all this stomach acid kept coming up. He was in a lot of pain. He finally went to the doctors... He told my mum he was scared he was going to die. She just kind of thought he was joking and let it go. We finally got the results back and they weren't good at all. Dad had stomach cancer. They then put a camera up him to have a good look. They then found many other cancers. It was in his liver, stomach, underarm, neck, lymph glands and oesophagus. It was all too much. He then got chemo 2 weeks later. The chemo lasted for about 3 months and he had sessions every 3 weeks. After that they couldn't do anything else for around 6 months. The chemo had shrunk all the cancers a little bit, so he was alright to go on with his life. 3 months later we went back. All the cancer had grown really big. It was so unfair on him. They are now trying to give him more chemo to make him more comfortable. They told him they can't do anything else and he only has a few months left. It's so hard on us; he's got 5 children under the age of 18. My mum is so stressed out and depressed and the little kids don't understand. My 2 year old sister isn't going to have a dad to grow up with. I don't know what to do. My dad just got his university degree and our life was going to get better. :( it's all so hard.
